Coin-op washer/dryer downstairs, Patio area behind apartment where you can have a cigarette (please close apt windows first) or just sit with a cup of coffee. Fast, reliable WiFi connection. Full kitchen available as well. I live right around the corner and I'm available to help you however I can. I look forward to sharing my favorite NYC places with you.
It's a breath of fresh air after spending a crazy tiring day in the city. You'll come home to quiet streets, people walking dogs, neighbors chatting with neighbors and families out for a stroll. We are so close to Manhattan, and if you could fly, you'd be there in 3km's. But you have to go through the tunnel, so it takes about 10 minutes, could be a bit longer in times of heavy traffic. Buses run EVERY 5 minutes, you will never wait longer than this.
Super convenient. 24/7 bus stop is less than 2 blocks away, and easy to walk home at any time of the night. You will have detailed info on how to get in/out of the city. I provide an info binder in the apartment.
This is a very low crime area, it's filled with families and people who live in Weehawken and likely work in the city. It's a great place! I have another listing across the street, and another around the corner. If you're lost, just ask for Maria (Milu = Maria Lurdes), everyone knows me.
There is a great store on the corner where you can get a yummy bacon and egg sandwich in the morning, and another store where you can get a six pack of beer at 9pm. Lots of small restaurants nearby.
I live very close by, and I will be very happy to help you plan your itinerary. I am available on Viber, What's App, by text or email to help you with whatever I can.
This is a quiet neighborhood near one of the major traffic arteries into Manhattan. We're a few blocks from the Lincoln Tunnel, but far enough away that you can rest comfortably without having crazy city noise to deal with. Spending the day in NYC is so much fun, but it's also fun to have a relaxing place to rest so that you can tackle touring again the next day!
All guests must be included in guest count, including children and toddlers.
Here are some facts about transportation: the apartment is 2 minutes (3 blocks) walking from the Park Avenue bus stop. The jitney bus is very frequent, I rarely wait for it more than 2 to 3 minutes. Most of the time you won't even wait at all. You will get to the bus stop and a bus will be there. Buses are available 24/7 so you can catch them even when you spend the whole evening out.
The price of these express buses is $3 onboard, and for one bus in particular (Gate 51) $2.50 if you buy tickets at ticket window #23 at Port Authority Bus Terminal. Please note that if you buy tickets for this bus, you can only use the tickets for this bus, not on the "all night" buses. You won't find a timetable or route on the internet for these buses, it's a private bus company that runs many lines in and out of Manhattan.
You can look on Wiki under "Spanish Transportation" if you're interested in the history of this private service. NJTransit #22 runs every 30 minutes into Hoboken, home of the Cake Boss, Birthplace of Frank Sinatra and Baseball (where you can also catch the PATH into Manhattan 33rd Street and/or the World Trade Center) and NJTransit #123 every 15-30 minutes (during commute hours) into Manhattan’s Port Authority (42nd Street & 8th Avenue – Times Square), Easy city bus access to Jersey Garden Outlet Mall, much closer and as good as Woodbury Commons. We are also close to Hoboken, Weehawken and Jersey City.

Reviews for this host's other properties
Very warmly by Maria. Super apartment in a quiet neighborhood. All present.

Dear Milu, it was excelent, everything was ok, thank you, Michael
The stay was great. The house was exactly the Beschreibungen.Wir were seven people there. The connection to Manhattan was good, although you had to walk a bit, but that was not a problem as the so-called "chicken buses" every few minutes went to the Port Authority, back it went so fast selling agency.
Overall it was a great stay, we can recommend this house to anyone. Only the garden could use a refresher,
Maria and Jay, who received us very nice, gave us great tips for breakfast. (At the corner of 23rd, we would not have guessed)
The restaurant "Charritos" on the Hudson River was a very good recommendation.
Thank you for a great stay,
Johann Dieken and family
We had a lovely stay at the appartment. The appartment is spacious, clean and well equiped. Just a block away from the busshelter to Port Authority. The little bus takes you to Manhattan in 10-30 min, depending on the traffic.
A great , spacious, clean and fully equipped apartment. Very easy access to Manhatten by chicken bus, transfer about 15 minutes. Surroundings are safe to walk, even in the evening. Small restaurants with good and reasonable priced menus in walking distance. The hosts are absolutely great, very friendly and helpfull in all matters. We had a very pleasant stay and we can highly recommend this place. Thank you Maria and Jay.
It's a wonderful, great, clean and big apartment. Only 5 minutes to Manhatten City by bus. The bus stop around the corner. We had a great time. We recommend this apartment. Better than a hotel. Best regards to Maria & Jay.
We were actually asked to go to a larger apartment in 37st Street, Union City, for logistic reasons. Excellent, very spacious and clean apartment and a very nice and helpful host. Parking space in front of the house. Very conveniently located to the bus station (5 min walk), with buses (3 USD) going every 2 min to Times Square (15-25 min, depending on traffic). Safe neighborhood with many nice small South American restaurants. We had a wonderful weekend.
The apartment has fully met our expectations. It looks exactly like the pictures. We felt in this lovingly furnished apartment very comfortable and at home. Even with 7 people we had enough space for sleeping, eating and living. In the two small rooms for 1 and 2 people were sleeping and in the big four people (double bed + Doppelluftmatraze). Only the bathroom required some routine use, but this has worked well with two bathrooms. The kitchen has everything to appliances and utensils you would need. Some previous tenant, so we also have left behind some of foodstuffs or cosmetic products after their stay in the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant.
Milu has us most welcome and given lots of tips for staying. She was also always available for us. Free WiFi made us much easier;).
For the 11 days we had rented a minivan. This we could with a parking pass in the street of the apartment or around park. However, it was not always easy to find a parking space. From Union City one comes very fast everywhere (for shopping at Wal-Mart or to Times Square, for example) out. For the City we had Milu a good tip given for parking ($ 23 for one day or up to 12 hours), which is a great price for NYC.
We would recommend the apartment and definitely go back there again and again.
Fabulous host! Everything you need for a short visit to New York is there. The house is very spacious and beautiful. Plus it is really convenient to get to NYC by bus. I can only recommend you to stay there for your visit to New York, especially if you are traveling with your family. I would go there again any time!!
