SUNNY DREAM - 2 BR East Village!!
Floor No.3(with elevator)
Please do NOT try to book it without sending me a note first!
This is the new 2 BR spacious, modern apartment, located a few blocks from my King Weston, both in the East Village. This posting is for use of an entire private apartment with 2 private bedrooms (sleeps 6 max, ideal for 4), 1 full bathroom with tub, fully stocked kitchen, living room, closets in an elevator building.
NEW PICTURES ARE HERE! The apartment is complete and furnished and freshly painted!
This entire private apartment will sleep 6 comfortably (based on 2 people per bed). There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and the couch is a pull-out sofa bed.
Surely, you will experience living in a fantastic apartment in NYC while saving a few bucks from pricey NYC hotels that are located in the heart of the tourist frenzy areas in midtown. It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer.
This is available for rentals of 3 nights or more. However, if you are seeking a stay only 1 or 2 nights, it is possible to do so, if it precedes or adds to an existing reservation.
The Building and Neighborhood: It's located on a fairly quiet street across from a school (quiet at night) and a road that has less than average travel. It's about a 2 minute walk to the nearest subway (L Train) and 1 minute to a bus.
The unit has a fully stocked kitchen: full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, top of the line stainless cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware and decent closet space for luggage and clothing.
The highly desired neighborhood is quite lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5-10 years and located on the East side of Manhattan from 14th St down to Houston (same as street zero) which borders the LES (Lower East Side). Tompkins Square Park is 2 blocks away.
The East Village offers over 400 restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping and a beautiful park which has a few playgrounds for kids, basketball courts, dog run and plenty of benches and grassy areas to relax. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 2 blocks. About 90% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups and this has an elevator. There are about 50 restaurant/bars/cafe's within a 3 block radius and probably 500 within a 10 block radius.

If you wish to clean sheets while you are here, there is a laundry room in the basement to do yourself, or I can arrange to have my house cleaner come and she will charge you accordingly, or you can drop it off at the laundromat around the corner in the morning, and pick it up in the evening.

Reviews for this host's other properties
Bruce's apartment is brilliantly situated between midtown and the financial district , lots of bars, shops, restaurants etc all within easy walking distance. View from the roof is the stuff of dreams. Apartment spacious for 2, very clean and comfortable. Bruce was there to meet us : very friendly with tips and advice for the area.also basics for cooking and breakfast provisions which was great.
Its a real residential neighbourhood and very affordable for eating out and drinking compared to much of Manhattan.
Had a great stay in NYC and Bruce's apartment was great for us.
Perfect location and they were very welcoming and made feel very at home.
Roof top terrace view is a must see too!
Bruce has been a very nice host. The flat is in the basement, but quit nice with a great view from the rooftop!
Its a bit of a walk to the next subway, but not that bad. East Village is a great area for bars and restaurants.
All went very well with our stay. Very organized meet up, nice and clean apartmant. I'd return anytime.
We stayed in Bruce's apartment for 8 days, at the beginning of October. Bruce was a great host, and the room was big and comfortable. It was very clean when we first arrived and there was a small fridge with some complimentary food and drinks - nice touch. I would recommend this place to my friends. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks Bruce!
Bruce was a really nice and helpful host. He gave us a lot of good information that helped us making our trip even better. His apartment was absolutely clean, the room that we stood at was comfortable and we had a lot of space; additionally, the bed was just really nice. Throughout our stay, Bruce respected our privacy and was still available in case we had a question. Thank you for a great time!
It was great at Bruce's. Nice little Room with everything needed and pretty well connected to the center of Manhattan. Also some nice Bars arround.
We had 8 nights at the property and were very pleased. Bruce was an excellent host.
Previously, he sent us the exact directions. Cleared in advance on what we wanted to have breakfast and filled the fridge with it exactly. A great reception. He answered all our questions and gave advice.
The room was clean. The bathroom we had to share with him, which was not a problem. The apartment block has an own roof terrace. Madness, a panoramic view of Manhattan. To cook the room is not very suitable, because you have to put the two electric hot plates on the dining table, but everything is there, what you need for it.
The area is safe and with many cafés and pubs it has a student and invigorated.
We have felt very comfortable and can recommend it. Thank you Bruce!
Danke Bruce!
We really enjoyed staying here. Bruce is a friendly guy who obviously takes great care of both the apartment and the contact / communication with us. Clear and practical info beforehand and durng our stay, nice and clean apartment and a breakfast that we could specify some things we like. I definitely recommend this place to others and would love to stay with him again.
Good base in the north and south of Manhattan. All Public Must be good, for example, reached by city bikes. Immediately within three Citybike stations. Many good restaurants and pubs in the East Village around the corner. Top roof terrace with great views.
