Close to Golf, woods etc. in a peacefull area away from the big city noise.
The house is from the 20's and newly renovated with charm.
The Stockholm archipelago, with its 30 000 islets and rocks is a unique place. The archipelago is a combination of wind-beaten Baltic islands and quiet bays with calm waters. The idyllic image of the the world-famous Swedish summer originates here.
This is a paradise for those who are interested in kayaking or sailing, and there are also great opportunities for those who want to catch fresh fish for dinner. You can go swimming in summer. There is possibility to rent a smaller house on the same plot, A little peace of heaven.

Reviews of this property
This house is situated at a wonderful place 40 m to the water surrounded by nice trees.
Unfortunately the house is in a poor condition. The description of the house says: "newly renovated with charm" But if you look at the house it seems the renovation had started in two rooms and stopped afterwards. If you take a shower the water splashes out of the bathroom, because you can't close the two bathroom doors. The windows are old and dirty. The porch and main entrance door are in a very poor condition. We had to clean the fridge because it was dirty. The toilet operates on a dry system, which means you have to add a certain kind of soil afterwards, the toilet system needs a thoroughly cleaning.
Wifi was working very well.
The price is much too high for what you get.
The "relaxing house by the sea" is a piece of Heaven. Surrounded by the water, you can sit under fantastic trees in comfortable furniture. The house has everything you need, is really nice to live in an in case of need, you just may call Catja who is there to answer. The island is a very nice one with beautiful houses and boats and from which it is easy to join the centre of Lindigö and also Stockholm. We have passed marvelous holidays. Thank you :-)
Such a wonderful place to relax !
Enjoying nature, ducks, swans, silence, and beauty of the landscape.
Spent my time reading on a deck chair, right on the pontoon.
We had a marvelous time in this house, situated just half an hour from center Stockholm, what more to expect ?
Catja was very helpfull and so kind, making the stay a real delight.
Can't wait to come back !

First, the good points.
The location is stunning, you are literally a few metres from the water and the peace and quiet is amazing. The wildlife is wonderful, in our short stay we saw deer and all manner of wild fowl from the windows of the chalet. You are only a 20 minute drive from the centre of Stockholm. The chalet itself is quirky and quaint and has all the facilities you need. We have 2 small dogs so it was important that they could stay with us, which wasn't a problem. They had a great time too as there are plenty of opportunities to walk in the beautiful surroundings. Catja was available when we needed her as she only lives a couple of hundred metres away, in the circumstances we didn't need any assistance but it was nice to know she was close by if we did need anything.
Now the bad points.
The place had an 'unloved' and unfinished air about it. The grounds of the property need tidying up and the chalet itself felt a little cluttered. The mezzanine bedroom is not for the faint-hearted as there is very little headroom and the access ladder makes a dignified entry/exit impossible. The bridge over the watercourse leading to the chalet is a health and safety hazard in desperate need of replacement. You cannot park your car next to the chalet, even to unload, so you have to carry your luggage, however there is a wheelbarrow provided to help in this situation. The toilet facilities were 'interesting', I'll leave it at that!
In summary, I would call it "Paradise Lost" rather than "A Little Peace of Heaven" but on balance I would stay there again.
Schöne Bilder, aber man denkt es wäre ein Gartenhaus.
Alles sehr sehr sehr klein
Toilette ist ein Blumpsklo im Wald
Situated on a beautiful spot. Very quiet, and close to the centre of Stockholm. Lidingö is so nice. The cottage is very simple and a little messy. The backyard is filled up with a lot og stuff and is not looking good. The toilet will be a challenge to some renters. 5 stars for the location 1-2 stars for the cottage. Catja was very helpfull and quick to respons on our contacts. Vent there to participate in Lidingöloppet.
