Annie's Boat is a B & B (bed & boat) for a relaxing stay in a vibrant city.
Are you looking for a house situated in a quiet area, yet close to the hustle and bustle of the city?
Then Annie's Boat is the place to be.
The property is suitable for 2 people. Max 2 children up to 12 years are also welcome and they stay free. Until the age of 3 years is a cot present. For children from 3 to 12 years is a thick luxury air mattress (2x 1pers. air mattress) of very good quality which sleeps as good as a real bed.
Annie's Boat is located in De Nieuwe Vaart on De Oostelijke Eilanden and close to the Central Station (20 mins. walk), Waterlooplein (16 mins. walk), Nieuwmarkt and the famous “wallen” (19 min), the Maritime Museum (4 min .). Furthermore, in the area within walking distance you can find Public Library (16 min), Nemo (11 min), Artis ZOO (10 min), the Dappermarkt (12 min), brouwerij 't IJ (10 min) and a diversity of shops, food and beverage outlets.
A large AH supermarket is around the corner (2 min) and is open 7 days a week until 22:00.
In your stay you can make free use of the barbecue on the terrace, all linens (bed, bath and kitchen) and there is always plenty of tea, Nescafe, orange juice, 1 double packaging toppings (sprinkles, peanut butter, jam, etc. ) and standard brown and white bread.
If you have questions or other needs for your breakfast then you can pass it to me, the price depends on your needs.
Through the wheelhouse you enter. There are windows all around in the wheelhouse which gives you a perfect view and it's a lovely place to sit and enjoy with or without a snack or drink.
The stairs lead you to the middle of the ship with on your right the toilet and on your left the open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped including a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, pans, crockery, cutlery and sufficient worksheet to prepare a delicious meal.
Between the kitchen and the living room you’ll find a cozy dining table.
The living room has a large corner sofa where you can stretch your leggs and just relax and read or watch TV. There are plenty of books and DVDs available.
In the front is the bedroom en suite. Here is a comfortable spring bed of 160 x 200 (2x mattress 80 x 200).
From your bed you can easily get in the bath to slowly wake up or the other way around, you can fall asleep in bed after a relaxing bath.
Along the wall are porcelain buttons with hangers that serve as wardrobe and there are shelves where you can store your clothes.
The entire boat is at your disposal, with 60m2 living space and a terrace on the aft deck with seating and ashore is a terrace with seating and a bbq at your disposal.
If you like we can do the groceries for your bbq at an additional cost depending on your needs.

Thanks so much for a great stay on the beautiful Annie's boat. Anita and her father are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We loved the location, the peacefulness of being on the water and all of the little touches left to make you feel welcome.
We will definitely return, and would recommend to anyone.

It was my wife and I first trip to Amsterdam and we didn't want to opt for the traditional hotel, and decided to pick Annies boat for our stay there, what can I say, the best decision ever as Annies boat has so many Pros over a hotel room.
Anita and her father were very welcoming, the boat was huge and spotlessly clean, there are many generous refreshments laid on to make your stay more enjoyable.
Location of Annies boat is fantastic, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, however close enough to all amenities, there is a fantastic supermarket a stones throw from the boat, and a bus stop right outside that takes you to central station (no 22 bus), just pay as you get on (€2.90 each).
Thanks again Anita and Gijs for making our break in Amsterdam so special, lovely people with a lovely Boat.

The boat is perfect, the location is perfect and Anita and Gijs are the perfect hosts. I stayed for a week aboard Annies boat and everything you can think of is provided to make your stay idyllic. The bed is super comfortable, the bath (although I prefer a shower), was very good, plenty of hot water and the heating works very efficiently. The location is ideal being a short walk to central station and the main squares. So close to Artis Zoo, Hortus Botanicus and much more. I shall be booking next years holiday on Annies Boat as soon as I can.
We really enjoyed our stay at Annie´s Boat. We recommend this to anyone who wishes to live a different experience when traveling to Amsterdam. Anita is very kind and helpful! A big thank you to her and her family!
Perfect place! Warm welcome with welcome drink and typical Dutch snacks and candy. Boat was clean, tidy, and well equipped. Easy to find, not far from main attractions and supermarket around the corner. If you seeking for a special overnight in Amsterdam I would definitely recommend Annie's boat!!!
Even when the word - especially from american tourists - is too much used: it was "awesome"! Fine and clean boat, central but out of the tourist tracks located and with a very familiar character. In dutch: uitstekend en gezellig !
I highly recommend Annie's Boat for a stay in Amsterdam. The Boat is very well appointed, comfy bed, plenty of Hot water and good facilities just as described. A good supermarket just around the corner. Quiet location but just a 10 minute walk or couple of minutes on the Bus (No. 22, four an hour) to Central Station
What stood out was the fact that Anita has put a lot of thought into making Annie's Boat a great place to stay and that Gjis made sure we were looked after and well informed.
We had a wonderful stay and can fully recommend this place, first of all because Anita and Gijs are wonderful people and of course because of the quality, the location and the surroundings.
When we are going to visit Amsterdam again, we will think of Annie's Boat first!
Thanks a lot!
