Close to the high-octane world of the City of London and also near to London's trendy east End, with Shoreditch and Brick Lane very nearby. Liverpool Street Tube Station is 1 minute walk away. Liverpool Street is a big transport hub with connections all over the great city of London.
Shoreditch is in the east of central London and is one of the most popular areas in London at the moment. It is full of trendy cafés, bars, restaurants and other meeting points such as galleries and small shops. There are also a lot of exciting markets surrounding the area such as Brick Lane Market, Broadway Market and Colombia Road Market.
A short walk away from Shoreditch is Liverpool Street station where you can access Central Line, which will take you to the Oxford Street in 10 minutes. Oxford Street is the main shopping street in London, and nearby are a lot of the typical attractions of London. There are also plenty of buses and night buses running 24/7 from all directions in London. Whether you want to enjoy a day (or night) out in central London, or chill out with the locals in one of the markets, Shoreditch is the perfect location for you.

We spent 5 nights in this apartment. The neighbourhood itself is quite noisy, but it didn't interrupt a good night sleep. Our general impression was positive, however I must say that there's not much space (despite what's shown in the pics) and it's not that clean (mainly in the bathroom). The kitchen is well equipped, but the blender and one plate on the hob do not work. The living room is the heart of the flat - with a comfy sofa, large dining table and an impressive TV(lacking EuroSport tho). The only flaw of the room is that the sofa bed is broken in the middle and may cause back pains.
When it comes to the bathroom and the bedroom - both small, yet big enough.
I give Marcos a 5 star rating! The Apartment is in the perfect location if you are visiting for a few days in London. We were looking forward to shopping in the Liverpool area, so this was just perfect. It is also just steps away from the Liverpool station which has three tube lines running through it to take you all over the city. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and great shopping nearby. The room was small and cozy but all we needed for a few nights stay. The bathroom is shared but was cleaned each day and was well kept.We will definitely stay here again.
Central location. Clean & comfortable.
Comfortable room in great location, it's conveninet that you can pick up the key in a hotel next door. There were some problems with leaking shower during our stay, but everything else was just as described. It's only a pity that our room on the third floor faces the backyard and there was a steady noise from the industial fans.. Anyway, we had a good 1-day stay, a big thank you to the host!
Stayed there for the second time already. Room was clean and the provided service was exceptionally good!
Clean & comfortable.
the location is awesome, and the price is more than fair. It is small but clean. The bathroom is okay.
Cool ! shared bathroom. neat and efficient.
I actually don't know where to begin. From what i could make out of the initial add we would be alone in an appartment with bathroom and kitchen. To my surprise there were 2 other rooms occupied and we had to share the kitchen and bathroom.
Let's start with the kitchen. True, it looked nice at first glance. But taking a closer look i noticed that the furnace wasn't working very well. One of the gas hobs didn't fit very well, so it sometimes performed more like a flamethrower. Besides that it was covered in black stains and in an overall sorry state. The locking mechanism of the kitchen window wasn't working at all. We had to place an adaptor found in one of the kitchen drawers to keep it firmly shut.
The amount of knives was below average. Assuming that all the rooms would be occupied, there were 2 knives available for 8 persons.
The bathroom was something else completely. Taking a shower was difficult because of the screwthread that holds the shower head together failed completely. We had to clamp the showerhead between some rail and the wall to get it to spray in the right direction. The bathtub had black stains near the drain. The sidecover of the bathtub was loose at the bottom part, so when entering we regularly came in contact with the edge pointing outwards. The showercurtain was loose in the middle; one of the attachment points was completely rusted through, and at that spot was water dripping out from the ceiling. The taps had to be firmly shut to keep the water from dripping.
Not to mention the doors. Due to the lack of proper doorhandles the doors from both the toilet and the bathroom had to be closed by some sort of bolt.
We were told that the rooms would be cleaned on a regular basis. We stayed for a whole week, and not once our room was cleaned, or the sheets of our beds changed.
Ending with the floorcovering in both the kitchen, toilet as well as the central hall which very much needs replacement, i hope to have made my mark.
The owner (as far as i could see from Indian origin?) told me in a proud way that the property was his. I don't know much about the living standard in India, but for us this was a bit below average.
