Great location and comfortable room. Easy check in, staff were nice. Really enjoyed my stay and will book this again next time I stay in London. Thanks very much.
My brother and sister and I booked this place for an extended weekend for our parents.
They came back very happy by their stay. They find this place of good quality and very good locations in London in the center not far from Baker Street made famous by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's hero Sherlock Holmes.
If you want a good place to stay, very convenient for visits at an interesting price, i would recommend this one.
Both my self and daughter had a nice time staying at the small apt. It was very clean and Gabby was just a nice person. Location was very good and a short walk to the tube station.
Would tell others. evan
Absolutely perfect location and wonderful accomidation for the price. A few things needed repair but it was really easily ignored. I loved staying there and will definitely use it again in the future. Can't beat it for the price.
Heart of London, very comfortable. I had a nice time being there.
Not a good experience overall. Apart from a comfortable spotlessly clean bed and the location, this room has nothing else to commend it.
Traffic noise is very bad. The room is shabby and badly needs refurbishment from top to bottom including furniture, carpet and curtains. The provided TV is hopeless. There is a shared toilet close by (only adequate) and the nearest bathroom was out of commission due to work being done. Unless you're fit you will not enjoy the multiple stairs to get to the room in the former attic of the house.
It is not a room in someone's house - it's an apartment 'hotel'.
The staff were pleasant enough, but not exceptional.
I will not be staying there again.
The Room is actually a room in a residence, called Amber Residence. It is on the top floor so quite a challenge with heavy luggage. The room it self is small and not very clean. (Dusty and I found long black hair in various places). It is very loud, even during the night, because the street below is very busy. You have to share the bathroom with 3 other rooms. The toilet did not flush properly and one time it was left dirty by someone because of that.
The only really good thing about this room is the location, as it is about 7 minutes away from Oxford Street and about10 min. frome the Tube station Marble Arch (central line).
I would not book this room again.
Unfortunately I had to cancel my stay so I can't review the apartment itself, but I can say that the reply once I queried was quick and the booking was done flawlessly. Would book with them again if needed!
The hotel, located close to Marble Arch station and to Baker Street station, was perfect. The tube was easy to reach. Although I could choose, I preferred taking the Bakerloo line from Baker Street station. I loved walking famous Baker Street.
I had a nice little studio with the possibility for cooking. The shared bathroom didn’t matter to me. For I was starting early in the morning walking Baker Street I had breakfast on my way, so I didn’t really need to use the little kitchen, but I was very grateful for the refrigerator! So I had cold water every time when I returned to the hotel. I loved it. Additionally it was a quiet room – okay, sometimes I could hear my neighbours talking and sometimes I could hear a door slamming, but all in one it was quiet and I was able to sleep very well. Just perfect.
The shared bathroom was in a very good condition, the shower was even big enough for me (I’m not slim) and I had not really to wait.
There was a really nice staff, very helpful and polite. Thank you very much.
At last I must confess, it’s not a 5 star hotel, but I was happy of getting that nice little studio in the center of London (Zone1) for the price of a tiny hotel room in Zone 2 or 3. I really enjoyed my stay there. I’d love to return.
Cause of all this, the price for value and considering the location I give 5 stars.
I enjoyed my stay very much. Many thanks and sorry for the belated rating.
