The apartment is fine. Easy to find following the instructions of the owner. The area is residential and quiet, not many bars or restaurants except in New Cross Road. There is a Sainsbury's supermarket next to the subway.
Sydney greets you when you arrive, teaches you the apartment and give you some recommendations. Very friendly and quick to respond via whatsap, email or call.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms with large bed, clean sheets and closets. No blinds so I suggest adding a system to prevent light from entering the room from early in the morning.
The kitchen is fully equipped and clean. Wifi and television work very well.
Clean bathroom and shower with hot water without problems.
To get from Liverpool Street, Whitechapel and subway to get there orange overground line to New Cross Gate (careful as there are 3 orange lines to the south, take the direction going West Croydon) Another option is to go from London Brige metro to Canada Water and take the overground to New Cross Gate.
Approximately costs to reach about 30 m from Liverpool Street.
Certainly good choice if you travel with friends or family.
El apartamento está muy bien. Fácil de encontrar siguiendo las instrucciones del propietario. La zona es residencial y tranquila, no hay muchos bares ni restaurantes salvo en New Cross Road. Hay un supermercado Sainsbury's al lado del metro.
Sidney te recibe a tu llegada, te enseña el apartamento y te da algunas recomendaciones. Muy amable y responde rápido via whatsap, email o llamada.
El apartamento tiene 2 habitaciones con cama grande, sabanas limpias y armarios. No hay persianas por lo que sugiero añadir algún sistema para evitar que la luz entre en la habitación desde primera hora de la mañana.
La cocina esta totalmente equipada y limpia. La Wifi y la televisión funcionan muy bien.
El baño limpio y la ducha con agua caliente sin problemas.
Para llegar desde Liverpool Street, coger metro hasta Whitechapel y de ahí linea overground naranja hasta New Cross Gate ( cuidado pues hay 3 lineas naranjas hacia el sur, coger la que va dirección West Croydon) Otra opción es ir desde London Brige en metro hasta Canada Water y coger el overground a New Cross gate.
Aproximadamente cuesta llegar unos 30 m desde Liverpool Street.
Sin duda buena opción si se viaja con amigos o familia.
The apartment is well to do for a few days. We were six of us and then do it right. Unfortunately, we have missed some things in the kitchen. That has not been set for 6 people. Sydney is a friendly guy and did bring a coffeepot because there was no koffieapperaat present.
het appartement is goed te doen voor een paar dagen. Wij waren met ons zessen en dan is het net te doen. Helaas misten we wel het een en ander in de keuken. Dat is niet ingesteld voor met 6 personen. Sydney is een vriendelijke jongen en kwam een koffiekan brengen, want er was geen koffieapperaat aanwezig.

Before arrival: communication worked well, however, it can take some time until you receive an answer, so just take your time and do not talk about essential details the day before your arrival. From Victoria Coach station, it takes you 30 min to get to the house. It's located in zone 2.
Arrival: worked very well. www.tfl.gov.uk comes in very handy when looking for ways to get to the house. By overground, you get to London Bridge Station (Tower Bridge) within 7 minutes. And: Get an oyster card! You'll need it.
Accomodation: The room, of course, is not too big, but, it was clean and more than sufficient for our three-day-trip to London. The bathroom and toilets are clean, too.
Host: Sidney is a good host and tries to help you whenever he can.
Positive: very economical price. A 15 minute subway ride from downtown and 15 minutes walk from the charming town of Greenwich.
There are shops near the house (especially a butcher preparing meat pies incredible and hilarious vintage pub "Vinyl".
NEGATIVE: poor cleaning. No towels. Unlocked bathroom and a toilet for sharing with 4 rooms. The paint on the walls dirty.
We've had a great time in London but I think Sydney should take better care of hygiene and details of the apartment and would greatly improve the feel of visitors.
En positivo : Precio muy económico. A 15 minutos en metro del centro y a 15 minutos a pie del precioso pueblo de Greenwich .
Hay tiendas cerca de la casa ( en especial una carnicería que prepara pasteles de carne increibles y un pub vintage divertidísimo " Vinyl ".
En NEGATIVO : Limpieza escasa . Sin toallas . Un baño sin cerrojo y un water para compartir las 4 habitaciones . La pintura de las paredes sucia .
Lo hemos pasado muy bien en Londres pero creo que Sidney debiera cuidar más la higiene y los detalles del apartamento y mejoraría mucho la sensación de los visitantes.
It is clear that we must not have any great expectations when booking through Wimdu. There are now out my hotel. I was with my girlfriend in London and we enjoyed the hotel very much. It was all necessary equipment, also we were out all day anyway. To Overground station to get very quickly on foot, the Directions to hotel was very helpful. The Overground it takes only 1-2 stops to the Jubilee Line Underground and is therefore quite fast in the first sights.
Mr. Sidney we have seen only once. A very friendly and cool young man. A supermarket and nice pub with lots of young people (students) is also around the corner. At first we were concerning. The area where a bit skeptical, but were quickly released from our skepticism. Quieter than thought and nice helpful neighbors.
A few drawbacks, however, there still. The mattress was very saggy in our room. Under the bed was indeed to find a second, but that seemed a bit too small. The building is also very noisy. Do not interfere, but can, if you're sensitive. The bathroom also had stains on the ceiling, am sure if the mold was not.
Otherwise, it was neat and clean.
We would book the hotel again and recommend it therefore continues.
Klar ist, dass man beim Buchen über WIMDU keine großen Ansprüche haben darf. Es sind nun mal meine Hotels. Ich war mit meiner Freundin in London und uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Es war alles nötige vorhanden, außerdem waren wir ohnehin den ganzen Tag unterwegs. Zur Overground Station kommt man sehr schnell zu Fuß, auch die Wegbeschreibung zur Unterkunft war sehr hilfreich. Mit der Overground fährt man nur 1-2 Stationen zur Jubilee Linie der Underground und ist somit recht schnell an den ersten Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Mr. Sidney haben wir nur ein Mal gesehen. Ein sehr freundlicher und cooler junger Mann. Ein Supermarkt und netter Pub mit vielen jungen Leuten (Studenten) ist auch um die Ecke. Anfangs waren wir bzgl. der Gegend dort ein wenig skeptisch, wurden allerdings schnell von unserer Skepsis befreit. Ruhiger als gedacht und nette hilfsbereite Anwohner.
Ein paar Nachteile gibt es allerdings trotzdem. Die Matratze war in unserem Zimmer sehr durchgelegen. Unterm Bett war zwar eine zweite zu finden, die allerdings etwas zu klein schien. Das Haus ist außerdem sehr hellhörig. Muss nicht stören, kann aber, wenn man empfindlich ist. Im Badezimmer waren außerdem Flecken an der Decke, bin mir nicht sicher ob das Schimmel war.
Ansonsten war es ordentlich und sauber.
Wir würden die Unterkunft erneut buchen und empfehlen sie deshalb weiter.
The apartment is very near the new cross tube station in Zone 2. In just two seasons and catch the Water canada station that picking the Jubilee Line takes 10 minutes to central London. The area of the apartment is very quiet despite being in an apartment on the ground floor. The supermarket is a bit far, about 500 mts. The apartment is equipped with the necessary equipment if you are having a meal. a double bed and two mattresses beds that can be put together in the room. O apartamento é muito perto da estação de metro de new cross, na zona 2. Em apenas 2 estações e apanha a estação de canada Water que apanhando a Jubilee Line leva 10 minutos ao centro de Londres. A zona do apartamento é muito sossegada apesar do apartamento ser num rés do chão. O supermercado fica um pouco distante, cerca de 500 mts. O apartamento esta equipado com o equipamento necessário se tiver que fazer uma refeição. uma cama de casal e 2 camas colchoes que se podem montar na sala. Durante o tempo que estive em londres não vi o proprietário. Mas também não foi necessário. Todas as instruções dadas estavam corretas. Boa opção para quem só quiser o apartamento para dormir.
The communication worked great before, but unfortunately on arrival has not worked. It has been said that we find a combination lock where we sollen..aber enter the code that did not exist unfortunately. thank god we have encountered after 20min 2 girls who had rented an apartment next door and who first let us through the inner door, finally we have reached someone on the phone who then opened our door to our apartments. The apartment was as far as "clean" only the bathroom not properly come very down and hygienic. yet enough the apartment for a maximum of 2 nights, you can of course do not have high claims.
Conveniently located with bus stop in front and close to the train station .The old windows, outside air enters the room. We have not met the Amfitrion in person, but answer the phone and speak Spanish. Overall good.
Bien situado ,con parada de autobuses en frente y cerca de la estación de trenes .Las ventanas antiguas, entra el aire de fuera en la habitación. No hemos conocido al amfitrion en persona, pero contesta al teléfono y habla español. En general bien.
